- Anritsu launches the MS2850A signal analyzer for development and production of 5G mobile communication systems.
- This mid-range analyzer has an analysis bandwidth of 1 GHz for evaluation of 5G multi-carrier signals.
- Together with the 5G embedded measurement software suites, this instrument performs measurements over a typical 800 MHz modulation bandwidth usable in 5G mobile communication, in particular implementing eight 100 MHz bandwidth carriers .
The MS2850A signal analyzer enables transmission performance testing for wireless communication equipment during the development and manufacturing phases.
The two models in the range covering frequencies ranging from 9 kHz to 32 GHz and 44.5 GHz have an analysis bandwidth of 255 MHz as standard, optionally expandable to 510 MHz or 1 GHz.
Noise measurement (Noise Figure) and phase noise functions can be installed. Their dynamic range measurement is above 140 dB.
Using the embedded 5G measurement software suite, this analyzer allows to perform measurement of 5G uplink and downlink signal frequency error , power or EVM (<1%) using CP-OFDM modulation. Downlink measurements evaluate multiple carriers all at once.
The MS2850A supports the mobile technologies of previous generations, such as LTE, W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA and GSM, and also offers support over time with the new 5G NR standards currently being specified by 3GPP.
