- At the MRO Europe trade show, held from October 14 to 16, 2025, in London, Spherea, a French designer of test solutions and related services, is presenting the latest addition to the Atec family: Atmos (Automatic Tester Modular & Open System).
- This open test platform is designed for the production and maintenance of aeronautical equipment.
Designed from a generic core, this automated test system is intended for testing electronic equipment with a reduced number of signals. Its philosophy: to offer a simple, compact, modular, and affordable solution, suitable for both aeronautical production and maintenance, as well as mechanical, optronic, and electromechanical applications.
According to Spherea, Atmos stands out for its flexibility: its modular architecture facilitates application development, and its openness allows it to be integrated into various hardware and software environments, including TestStand®, LabVIEW, or Atlas.
Compatible with the Atec® family, this test system benefits from the French company’s expertise and a long-term availability guarantee to support the aerospace and defense industries for the next twenty years.
The bench was designed to meet the current needs of manufacturers and MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) departments: time savings through automated procedures, intelligent data processing via the Memo software module, and the integration of advanced features such as a cybersecurity drawer and an energy consumption management module.
Atmos® aims to offer manufacturers and aerospace maintenance centers an economical and robust tool capable of ensuring the reliable return to service of various equipment—control panels, sensors, displays, and data switches.
