Spherea acquires Noise XT

Spherea, French specialist in the testing of critical electronic and optronic systems, acquired Noise XT, a French company specializing in the synthesis and generation of high-spectral radio and microwave signals.

The acquisition of Noise XT (Noise Extended Technologies) enables Spherea to expand its offer in the fields of microwave testing and simulation of critical systems.

This acquisition follows the same logic as the acquisition in 2015 by the French specialist in the testing of critical electronic and optronic systems of the Power + company in the field of power electronics.

The French company Noise XT, created in 1992, is specialized in the field of frequency synthesizers and phase noise analyzers (model PN9000 in photo) presenting high spectral performances. Its instruments were until now marketed in France and Europe by Spherea.

Based in Elancourt (south of Paris), this company designs, manufactures and markets very low-noise solutions for the telecommunications, defense, space and metrology markets. In 2015, with 9 employees, it achieved a turnover of 1.327 M € for a profit of 160 k€.

Spherea announces its activities in 50 countries for 600 customers in the aeronautics, railway, energy, defense, space and industrial sectors.

“This acquisition is part of the strategic evolution of the company by 2020,” says Christian Dabasse, president of the Spherea group, who wishes to better support its customers in the development and deployment of their complex systems.
