Keysight Anite SAS Interoperability Test Solution now supports Cat M1 Test Plan validated by North American carrier. It’s, according to Keysight, one of the industry’s first wireless benchtop test set to establish connectivity with NB-IoT device. Device manufacturers can verify compliance to North American Carrier’s Cat M1 Test Plan and optimize designs supporting NB-IoT standards.
Device manufacturers are now able to verify that their Cat M1 capable products comply with a North American carrier’s Cat M1 focused Test Plan by using the Keysight Anite SAS Interoperability Test Solution (SAS).
The carrier validated the Test Plan following successful execution of test cases using the carrier acceptance solution SAS, as well as a device equipped with Qualcomm Technologies’ MDM9206 LTE IoT modem. Cat M1 is an IoT-centric variety of LTE that uses 1.4 MHz of spectrum to deliver 300 kbps to 400 kbps.
Keysight offers designers the ability to optimize IoT designs for critical performance attributes such as power consumption, RF performance and interoperability, by simulating the real world in the lab using the Keysight UXM.
The UXM test set demonstrates that the connectivity with an NB-IoT device that complies to the NB-IoT standards. NB-IoT is a standards-based low-power wide-area technology developed to enable a wide range of new IoT devices and services.
