Rohde & Schwarz expands its presence in India

  • On April 22, Rohde & Schwarz inaugurated a new center in India, located in the Manyata Tech Park in Bengaluru, the country’s third largest city.
  • The Indian center offers R&D, system integration, calibration and repair services.

“For Rohde & Schwarz, India is not just a growth market, but an essential part of our global strategy. Furthermore, this expansion reflects our contribution to the ‘Make in India’ initiative through a team of highly qualified engineers,” said Andreas Pauly (pictured), Rohde & Schwarz President and CTO, at the inauguration of the new premises. In particular, the Bengaluru R&D team will be involved in developing next-generation solutions for the German company’s Test & Measurement division.

“Over the past 25 years, we have fostered technological progress in India through strategic partnerships with government agencies, training institutes and technology companies. Our presence spans multiple locations across the country, encompassing Tier II cities directly and through our extensive network of distribution partners,” said Yatish Mohan, Managing Director of Rohde & Schwarz India.

The new facility houses an ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 (NABL) accredited calibration and repair center. In addition, the center will also include sales, applications and system integration services, as well as an exhibition area dedicated to demonstrations, featuring a variety of test and measurement equipment and solutions.
