RS Components (RS), the brand of Electrocomponents, a global specialist in the distribution of electronic components, maintenance equipment and measuring instruments, will be an official partner of the 22nd edition of the World Electronics Forum, first time in France, in Angers from 24 to 28 October 2017.
Many representatives of federations and executives from around the world will meet at this event to discuss current and future issues in the electronics industry. This event will take place within Connected Week, a week dedicated to connected objects, during which start-ups, professionals and schools will present their expertise and innovations.
RS indicates that it wished to accompany and support this event as an official partner in order to discuss the main orientations of the sector. “It is the first time that this international event is held in France, so it was quite natural for RS to support this edition of the WEF,” emphasizes Stéphane Maffli, president of RS France. “During this week, working groups will make their conclusions on market issues and trends in new technologies. Strongly committed to innovation in the electronics industry of tomorrow, RS can continue to support its customers and anticipate the needs of the market ”
RS will also showcase its latest solutions during the forum, and will present demonstrations of its suite of free downloadable design tools: DesignSpark PCB, electronic design software, DesignSpark Mechanical, 3D modeling software, and DesignSpark Electrical , the electrical CAD software.
