- Dspace is expanding its radar target simulation system lineup with the Darts 9050-DG model, unveiled at European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2026.
- This new digital platform is designed for the development and validation of radar systems required to detect and track multiple objects simultaneously.
The Darts 9050-DG radar simulator features a continuous 5 GHz bandwidth across the entire signal processing chain, from system input to output. This capability targets testing scenarios that require the simulation of complex situations where a radar sensor must distinguish between multiple targets.
The system incorporates two independent simulation channels and supports up to 16 independent digital targets. Its digital signal processing capabilities allow for the generation of multi-object scenarios, enabling the evaluation of radar sensor behavior and the functions that utilize their data.
This radar simulator is based on a software-defined digital architecture, allowing features to be added or enhanced through software updates. Dspace positions this platform as a foundation for future developments within the Darts product line and for adapting the system to specific requirements.
