- Arrow Electronics and eInfochips, its engineering services company, have announced the expansion of their Automotive Center of Excellence (CoE) in Munich and Istanbul to support manufacturers in their design process for next-generation automotive systems.
Arrow believes that designers face obstacles in adopting connected, autonomous and hybrid software technologies when they don’t have enough specialists with the required skills in-house. Arrow’s Automotive Center of Excellence is designed to help.
Arrow’s recent acquisition of iQmine, a provider of engineering services for the automotive and transportation industries, strengthens the capabilities of this Center of Excellence.
Based in Munich, Germany, and with a development center in Istanbul, Turkey, iQmine supports automotive suppliers in their product development process.
In particular, the center boasts expertise in Autosar (Automotive Open System Architecture) technology, ECU (Electronic Control Unit) software development, functional safety and vehicle diagnostics.
