- Electro Rent, a test and measurement equipment rental and management company, announces the appointment of Stijn Sallaerts as Vice President and General Manager for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Specializing in providing rental measurement solutions and equipment fleet management, Electro Rent has entrusted Stijn Sallaerts with the leadership of its European operations. In this role, he will be responsible for driving the company’s business development in the aerospace and defense, semiconductor, fixed and mobile telecommunications, and data center infrastructure markets.
Background and Education
Stijn Sallaerts has over twenty years of experience in the electronic test and measurement industry. Throughout his career, he has held various sales, product management, and operations leadership positions in Europe, Asia, and North America. Academically, he holds an engineering degree in electronics from KU Leuven and an MBA from Vlerick Business School in Belgium.
Responsibilities and Manufacturer Relations
As head of the EMEA division, Stijn Sallaerts will coordinate regional operational teams and oversee distribution agreements with manufacturers of electronic test and measurement equipment. His role will also encompass optimizing procurement processes and managing the portfolio of measurement instruments for the European market.
