- Gauss Instruments announces the availability of an ultra-high-resolution persistence mode for its TDEMI Ultimate and TDEMI Ultra series electromagnetic interference measurement systems.
- This display mode is typically used to detect hidden interference.
According to Gauss Instruments, in conventional measurement instruments, persistence mode is generally limited to 1,000 points and does not allow for data weighting or pre-filtering.
The TDEMI Ultimate and TDEMI Ultra series electromagnetic interference measurement systems now support more than 50,000 points in parallel, with increased resolution.
This mode enables standards-compliant emission measurements with a real-time bandwidth of 1 GHz and visualization of the temporal behavior of signals.
Statistical signal analysis facilitates the distinction between the signal from the equipment under test and environmental interference. Display resolution can reach 8k, enabling detailed visualization, particularly useful for studying multipath propagation and channel overlap in wireless communication frequency bands, such as the 2.4 GHz band.
These advancements are designed for electromagnetic measurement professionals, especially for analyzing signals in open environments and evaluating the performance of wireless transmission equipment.
