Synergy will use Keysight’s P8800S UE Emulation RAN (UeSIM) and P8822S UE/O-RU Emulation Over the O-RAN Fronthaul (RuSIM) solutions to create a network test environment during development and debugging of its 5G Smart RAN software solution.
These two user equipment (UE) emulation platforms will enable it to validate its all-in-one small cells as well as its O-RAN radio units (O-RU), distributed units (O-DU) and centralized units (O-CU) to continuously optimize its software and improve design.
Keysight’s UeSIM user equipment (UE) emulation solutions enable infrastructure and chipset providers and mobile operators to validate end-to-end radio access network (RAN) performance by emulating real network traffic on the radio and O-RAN fronthaul interfaces.
The RuSIM solution enables functional, conformance, and performance testing of O-DUs over fronthaul functional split option 7.2x.
