dSpace’s solutions on Microsoft Azure Cloud

dSpace solutions available on Microsoft Azure

  • dSpace makes its solutions for the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving Systems (AD) available from Microsoft’s Cloud Azure platform.

The software solutions for the simulation and validation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving systems (AD) will be associated with the Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure. OEMs and automotive suppliers can thus rely on a global and integrated solution for their developments based on large volumes of data. They will be able to access remotely from a Cloud platform providing the tools and processing capabilities needed to support data-intensive and computationally-intensive workloads.

The development of driver assistance functions (ADAS) and autonomous driving functions (AD) is based on the capture of large volumes of data from perception sensors, buses and on-board vehicle networks, and on the generation of simulated scenarios to analyze the behavior of the software, independent systems, subsystems and complete and integrated systems.

Captured data must be enriched in a usable format while being easy to distribute to teams working on development based on artificial intelligence technologies, data replay and simulation and validation tasks. This requires a flexible and centralized data storage system, as well as a scalable computing infrastructure based on tools that exploit artificial intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms that can operate directly in the same environment.
