- No trade show in France is capable of bringing together the leading manufacturers of electronic test and measurement instruments.
- The only event that can meet this challenge today is a travelling European event: European Microwave Week (EuMW).
- EuMW is one of Europe’s most important events, combining an exhibition and technical conferences around the themes of radio frequency, microwave, radar and wireless communications technologies.
- After Berlin in 2023, the 2024 edition takes place in Paris from Monday September 22 to Friday September 27, 2024 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center.
- Once again, none of the leading suppliers of RF and microwave test and measurement solutions are missing.
At the entrance to the show, it’s impossible to miss the imposing stands of Keysight Technologies and Rohde & Schwarz, which offer the market’s most comprehensive range of instruments for RF and microwave measurements.
Alongside them, the Aaronia stand is a sensation. Equipped with a multitude of giant screens, it highlights the spectrum analysis and monitoring capabilities of the German company’s instruments.

As you make your way down the show’s aisles, between the many stands of suppliers of a wide variety of RF and microwave components, antennas and circuits, it’s impossible not to catch a glimpse of the offerings of the other unmissable test instrument manufacturers: Tektronix, Pickering Interfaces, Rigol Technologies, NI (formerly National Instruments, acquired in 2023 by its compatriot Emerson), Anritsu, Dspace…
It’s also impossible not to notice the arrival in force of Chinese, Singaporean, Taiwanese and other Asian manufacturers on the RF components and instruments market.
As with most test and measurement equipment, French manufacturers of RF and hyperfrequency instruments are rare or non-existent. However, French manufacturers Prâna, a specialist in RF/HF broadband amplifiers, and Spherea, which manufactures a frequency stability and phase noise analyzer, are present at EuMW.
Another French company exhibiting at EuMW is Anyfields. Founded in 2021, the Toulouse-based company is exhibiting its innovative solution for measuring antenna performance using infrared thermography to measure and visualize antenna radiation.
French distributor Elhyte, which markets a variety of RF components, was exhibiting RF amplifiers from US company AR, acquired by the Ametek Group in 2023.
