- Keysight Technologies announced the acquisition of Scalable Network Technologies, a California-based company that provides simulation solutions to model and visualize communications networks and cyber threats.
Scalable’s solutions provide digital models of heterogeneous communication networks including 5G, enterprise, IoT and satellite networks to verify issues, risks, vulnerabilities and gaps. Its simulation and modeling tools aim to address the challenges faced by enterprises, government and defense agencies, research organizations, and educational institutions. Its software helps analyze and predict the cyber resilience and network performance of communication technologies prior to deployment.
“Scalable Network Technologies’ software solutions enable defense industries to accelerate their design cycles and develop what-if scenarios to predict the behavior of critical communication networks in the face of cyber threats,” said Dan Dunn, vice president of Aerospace Defense Government Solutions at Keysight.
“With Keysight we will be able to significantly expand the use of our digital network twin solutions across broad swaths of the commercial and defense markets,” said Dr. Rajive Bagrodia, CEO and founder of Scalable Network Technologies.
The acquisition of Scalable Network Technologies supports Keysight’s strategy of providing software-centric solutions that address its customers’ communication challenges.
The two U.S. companies’ solutions offer customers the ability to model, prototype and evaluate multi-domain networks and applications through software simulation, reducing risk during the development phase.
