- Trescal, a specialist in metrology services, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the Chinese company Suzhou LECC Testing Technology Company (LECC).
“Through LECC, Trescal gains access to the rapidly growing Chinese market,” said Guillaume Caroit, Trescal’s managing director, who will continue to strengthen its presence across Asia-Pacific.
LECC is a metrology laboratory based in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.
Founded in 2011, LECC employs more than 120 people and provides calibration services in 20 accredited fields, including physical chemistry, humidity, hardness and torque.
The Chinese company serves its 2,000 customers in the transportation, healthcare, renewable energy and manufacturing sectors.
LECC has achieved a turnover of €4 million in 2022.
