- Rohde & Schwarz and ETS-Lindgren continue their partnership to offer OTA (Over The Air) test solutions for next-generation wireless technologies.
- ETS-Lindgren has integrated the CMX500 signaling tester and R&S SMBV100B vector signal generator with its EMQuest™ software.
- The solution supports the latest wireless communication standards, including 5G FR1, 5G FR2, Wi Fi 7 and A-GNSS.
Rohde & Schwarz’s one box CMX500 signaling tester and R&S SMBV100B vector signal generator are now integrated with EMQuest™ software and test chamber from ETS-Lindgren.
The CMX500 tester offers a variety of functions for testing devices exploiting cellular and non-cellular communication technologies such as 4G LTE, 5G NR FR1 and FR2, the latest 5G RedCap technology and Wi Fi, up to the latest Wi Fi 7 standard.
The R&S SMBV100B vector signal generator delivers fully calibrated broadband signals. It acts as a GNSS constellation simulator which, combined with the CMX500, can run realistic, reproducible A-GNSS scenarios under controlled conditions.
The integration of these Rohde & Schwarz instruments with anechoic chambers and EMQuest™ software from ETS-Lindgren enables turnkey test solutions that meet the requirements of the latest wireless communication technology standards.
These integrated solutions are CTIA-certified for 4G and 5G FR1 and support SISO (Single Input Single Output) multiplexing techniques and MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output).
Carrier aggregation over hundreds of channels and bands is available for 4G and 5G carrier combinations. Other technologies, such as Wi-Fi up to version 7, Bluetooth®, Narrowband NTN and RedCap, are fully supported by Rohde & Schwarz instrumentation and EMQuest software.
