This family of digital multimeters consists of models with 5.5- and 6.5-digit resolutions. The basic DC accuracy for the 6.5-digit model reaches 0.0075%.
Covering voltage ranges up to 1000 V DC and 750 V AC and supporting currents of up to 10 A, the R&S UDS series digital multimeters from Rohde & Schwarz are a suitable solution for a wide range of measurement tasks.
Measurement Capabilities
Both models feature essential measurement functions for all test environments. Users can navigate between DC voltage, DC current, AC voltage, AC current, frequency, resistance, temperature, capacitance, diode, and continuity testing functions. Front-panel connectors support four-wire measurements requiring low/high connections.
The twelve basic measurement functions are complemented by mathematical and statistical functions, as well as limit testing. Users can configure statistical parameters and set measurement limits. The display colors change to indicate limit violations: red for out-of-range values and green for within-range values. An optional error tone can be enabled.
For remote control, the new multimeters offer various interfaces, such as USB, IEEE-488 (GPIB) for SCPI commands, and LAN (Ethernet). This allows them to be integrated into any test system or production line.
The R&S UDS series multimeters will replace the R&S HMC8012 digital multimeter.
