- AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation’s FL8000 series of electric field probes gain versatility by combining CW (Continuous Wave), modulated and pulsed signal measurement capabilities.
- The FL8000 family consists of five different electric field probes which, depending on the model, cover a frequency range from 5 kHz to 200 MHz to 20 MHz to 60 GHz.
The performance of EMC tests in the laboratory often requires the measurement of different types of electric fields. This requires the use of several probes.
The FL8000 series field probes are a “three-in-one” solution capable of measuring pulsed and modulated electric fields as well as continuous wave fields.
Like the manufacturer’s FL, PL and FA 7000 series models, the FL8000 series probes are powered by a fiber optic link. This guarantees continuous operation without the need to change or recharge a battery.
The electric field value is measured independently on each axis. The correction factor to be applied has been determined by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
