Evidas is based on 64 bit .Net technology and offers open software interfaces.
The user interface is intuitive to provide immediate visual feedback to the user. The measurement can start as soon as the intelligent sensors type TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) have been connected to the acquisition system.
According to HBM, two clicks are sufficient to display the measurement results and to visualize the evolution of the measurement curves without programming.
The TEDS type sensors carry a specific circuit complying with the IEEE1451.4 standard on which the information specific to the sensor function parameters is stored. The exchange of this information with the data acquisition system facilitates the configuration of the acquisition system.
In addition to TEDS and the sensor database, Evidas offers two additional configuration options: a dialog box for configuring individual channels and a direct configuration in the “measurement channels” tab. The software thus adapts to users’ preferences.
The user interface is available in English, German, French, Chinese and Japanese.
Evidas is designed for use with HBM’s multi-channel acquisition solutions such as QuantumX, SomatXR, MGCplus and PMX.
