- Intertek, a global company specializing in inspection, physical testing and certification, has formed a partnership with Groupe Emitech, a French specialist in EMC and environmental testing.
This partnership is designed to reinforce Intertek’s expertise and global network of accredited laboratories and facilities. Drawing on 135 years’ experience in providing assurance, testing, inspection and certification services in most industrial sectors, London-based Intertek works with manufacturers worldwide to ensure the quality, safety and durability of their products.
This strategic alliance enables the Emitech Group and Intertek’s European customers to benefit from more testing facilities and more extensive testing capabilities.
“We are delighted to have Emitech as an Intertek partner, and to be working with this impressive company to support our joint customers both in France, and across Europe. Emitech’s excellent capabilities, particularly in the field of EMC, are highly complementary to our own network of laboratories in Europe and around the world,” said Sunny Rai (left in photo), President, Electrical Technologies, Connected World and Transportation, Intertek, at a meeting with Emitech executives held on November 17, 2023 at the French company’s headquarters in Montigny-le-Bretonneux (78).

We are very proud of this strategic alliance. Our partnership with Intertek, a recognized world leader in total quality assurance, extends our reach and capabilities.”
Accredited by Cofrac, a notified body and a player in the OC scheme, the Emitech Group offers its threefold expertise in training, testing and engineering to players in the industrial sectors, to support them in the certification process for industrial equipment, consumer products, medical devices, vehicles and other mobile machinery involved in approval procedures in Europe and worldwide. It can also work alongside manufacturers in the defense and sustainable mobility sectors in the vehicle qualification and certification process, as well as in the design and validation of various powertrain technologies.
