- Marvin Test Solutions, a provider of electronic test solutions, announces the release of ATEasy 2021, the latest version of its integrated software that provides all the tools needed for application development and test execution.
- This new release features improved runtime performance, updated user interfaces, code beautification, and support for 64-bit software components.
ATEasy 2021 is an integrated test execution and development software environment for automating the testing and validation of electronic devices, boards, subassemblies and systems. Introduced to the market in 1991, this platform is currently deployed worldwide in test and measurement applications. As such, ATEasy version 2021 builds on more than three decades of software, hardware, and system design expertise to continue its process of improving the tools that are essential for test engineers to develop, debug, document, and execute electronic test applications.
“ATEasy was developed for test and measurement applications. Our goal from the beginning has been to continually improve the product to enable users to be more efficient and productive,” said Ron Yazma, vice president of software engineering for Marvin Test Solutions and architect of ATEasy. “With this release, users can create 32- or 64-bit applications and mix 32- and 64-bit software components. The development environment’s user interface has been redesigned to create better applications with a consistent coding style using our new beautify code features.”
The latest version features a revamped integrated development environment (IDE) user interface, 64-bit software component support, and updates to the code editor including Beautify Code, parameter suggestion, and auto-completion improvements.
This new release allows users to configure the ATEasy Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and test applications created by ATEasy to comply with the DOD Application Software Development (ASD 5.1) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements. The safety and reliability of the operating platform is ensured through access control, user privileges, DLL encryption, data encryption, and other protective measures.
ATEasy 2021 also features simulation capabilities, an integrated hardware abstraction layer (HAL), and free distribution of executables.
As always, ATEasy 2021 is 100% backwards compatible with all previous software versions. This allows for code reuse and preserves investments in software development.
