Teledyne e2v selects Marvin Test Solutions’ TS-900e-5G test system

  • Marvin Test Solutions, a provider of electronic test solutions, announced that its TS-900e-5G mmWave production test system has been selected by Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics for testing electronic devices operating in the millimeter wave range (mmWave).

 
The TS-900e-5G test system is part of the Genasys Semi family from Marvin Test Solutions. This semiconductor test solution is characterized by its flexibility and configurability as well as its compactness.

Performing laboratory quality measurements at speeds expected in production, the TS-900e-5G tester features independent, non-multiplexed multi-site test capabilities up to 53 GHz. Transmission of 44 GHz signals to the device under test (DUT) has been validated in production. This makes the tester suitable for high-speed testing of 5G communications equipment operating in the millimeter wave (mmWave) frequency range.

Genasys Semi 5G mmWave test solutions can be combined with diagnostic stations and handlers to integrate with existing semiconductor test equipment in production. Tester loading can be done manually or via an automated device. TS-900e-5G testers are equipped with 4 to 20 independent (non-multiplexed) ports for vector signal analysis. They have a small footprint, are powered by single-phase voltage and are air-cooled.

The test systems are supplied with ATEasy Test Executive and Development Studio software, as well as instrument drivers, virtual instrument interfaces and ICEasy test software tools.
