- The transaction was completed as usual with the support of investment firm Ardian, the majority shareholder of Trescal.
- This is the 23rd acquisition since the acquisition of Trescal by Ardian in July 2013.
Founded in 1992 in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Pyrometro is a specialized metrology provider in the life sciences sector. Through its four accredited laboratories throughout Malaysia, Pyrometro has expertise in the fields of electromagnetism, hardness, temperature and torque.
The Malaysian company employs 168 people and has a turnover of 15 million Malaysian Ringgit (€ 3.0 million).
The management team remains in place to contribute to the development of Trescal in Malaysia, whose ambition is to reach 50 million euros of sales in Asia by 2022 mainly through the pursuit of its strategy of acquisition.
