Microdata Telecom has acquired Kaelus

  • Microdata Telecom, a Swedish company specializing in RF signal conditioning components, acquired the Kaelus business from the American component supplier Infinite Electronics.

Founded in 2010, Kaelus offers test and measurement instruments, filters, mixers and tower-mounted amplifiers for RF signal testing and conditioning applications in the telecommunications sector.

Kaelus markets cable and antenna analyzers and PIM (Passive Intermodulation) testers in fixed or portable format.

Founded in 1981, Microdata Telecom offers a variety of products for the wireless telecommunications industry: multiplex filters, rejection filters, MIMO filters and tower-mounted amplifiers…

“This acquisition strengthens Microdata Telecoms’ presence in the global telecommunications market by expanding its product portfolio, customer base and marketing channels, while offering attractive design and manufacturing synergies,” said Mats Gustavsson, Executive Chairman of Microdata Telecom.

According to Penny Cotner, CEO of Infinite Electronics: « Infinite’s strength lies in its ability to meet our customers’ urgent needs for electronic components and assemblies and to be able to ship them the same day. This divestment will allow us to better focus on this strategic growth area. »
