- Rohde & Schwarz will present a range of test and measurement hardware and software at electronica 2026 in Munich from November 10 to 13.
- Located in Hall A4, Booth 307, the German company’s demonstrations will span general lab instrumentation, aerospace and defense, power electronics, RF design, EMC compliance, quantum research, and production line testing.
For general lab use, the company is introducing a handheld combi analyzer integrating spectrum analysis, real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA), vector network analysis (VNA), and power meter functionality into a single portable unit. The booth will also feature the R&S HMP5050 DC power supply, which offers up to five independent channels.
For high-frequency applications, Rohde & Schwarz will display the multi-channel FSWX signal and spectrum analyzer, phase noise measurements up to 170 GHz using the R&S FSWP, and two-port amplifier testing. Additionally, a setup featuring the R&S ZNA vector network analyzer combined with the R&S SAM200 system amplifier will showcase Ka-band amplifier characterization.
Industry-Specific Applications and Test Platforms
Aerospace and Satellite Testing: Demonstrations include a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite link testbed utilizing a robotic arm for beam steering emulation, 5G non-terrestrial network (NTN) testing on the CMX500 signaling tester, and 6G ISAC micro-Doppler simulation via the AREG800A radar echo generator.
Power Electronics and High-Speed Digital: Exhibits highlight electric drivetrain efficiency measurements with the ZES Zimmer LMG600, 3-phase power analysis on MXO oscilloscopes, and signal integrity testing up to 54 GHz with the R&S ZNB3000 vector network analyzer. The ScopeSync App will demonstrate multi-oscilloscope synchronization up to 24 channels alongside natural language control options via MXO AI Connect.
EMC Compliance and Quantum Research: The display features automated EMC testing using the R&S ESW test receiver with R&S ELEKTRA software. Zurich Instruments, a Rohde & Schwarz subsidiary, will present quantum control systems (SHFQC and ZQCS) scalable up to 1,000 qubits, arbitrary waveform generators (HDAWG), and impedance analyzers.
Production Line Testing and Services: End-of-line testing setups include AQG 324-compliant power module testing with PE-Systems and the MXO 5C, alongside manufacturing test solutions for wireless battery management systems using the R&S ExpressTSVP and CMP180 platforms. The company will also present its electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and calibration offerings.
