Anritsu's Tensor Series Vector Network Analyzer

Test Solutions Presented by Anritsu at EuMW 2026

  • Anritsu will showcase its Tensor series vector network analyzer (VNA) and various test instruments at European Microwave Week (EuMW 2026), taking place in London from October 6 to 8, 2026.

 
The Tensor series VNA (pictured) features an AI assistant designed for characterizing RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and optical components. It incorporates an interactive AI engine based on natural language processing to assist with setup and analysis. The software tool guides operators through S-parameter measurements, calibration, limit line definition, SCPI command generation, and amplifier characterization (gain, compression, AM/AM, AM/PM, THD, and two-tone IMD).

For mixer characterization, the analyzer integrates four internal sources, eight receivers, and an optional second local oscillator (LO). This hardware architecture enables scalar and vector evaluation (conversion loss, isolation, phase synchronization, group delay) of multi-stage components without the need for external switching equipment.

In addition to the Tensor platform, Anritsu will demonstrate a setup combining the ML2439A series power meter with the MG362x1A series Rubidium analog signal generator for power measurement and receiver sensitivity testing using CW, modulated, or pulsed signals (4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, radar).

The manufacturer will also exhibit the Spectrum Master MS2760A series ultra-portable spectrum analyzer. This USB-powered instrument covers the 9 kHz to 170 GHz range, connecting directly to the device under test to minimize cabling losses. Finally, a testbed developed with Tmytes will combine the ME786xA series VNA (featuring PhaseLync technology) with the XRifle Dynamic RIS (Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface) to evaluate radio propagation paths at 5G and 6G frequencies.
