- Rohde & Schwarz has acquired the British company The Technology Academy, which has been offering online training courses in the field of wireless, RF and microwave communication technologies since 2007.
With this acquisition, the German company intends to strengthen its existing training offerings by combining its expertise in the field of test and measurement with the e-learning know-how of The Technology Academy, with which it has already been working for ten years.
Rohde & Schwarz already offers virtual and live training from its own training center as well as training at its customers’ sites. Technology professionals with different levels of experience have 24/7 access to on-demand training. This provides them with a range of certified training courses that allow them to benefit from expert knowledge and industry perspectives.
The main objective of these courses is to help technical staff meet new challenges and master the latest technologies. The e-learning format allows for flexible and scalable learning paths that take into account the time and budget constraints of companies. The training courses are oriented on practical and application aspects.
