- Aaronia offers the Spectran V6 MIL series real-time spectrum analyzer for field measurement applications.
- Housed in a rugged, waterproof enclosure, this portable instrument meets the requirements of the military standard MIL-STD-810G .
- This spectrum analyzer, combined with the RTSA Suite software, allows real-time monitoring and detection of signals over a frequency range from 10 MHz to 6 GHz (8 GHz optional).
The Spectran V6 MIL spectrum analyzer is housed in a drop, vibration, and shock resistant enclosure. It is protected against dust, water, and moisture to IP65 specifications and can be used in extreme conditions over a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. Its ruggedness is proven by its independent certification to the requirements specified by MIL-STD-810G.
The Spectran V6 spectrum analyzer features a real-time analysis bandwidth of 2×245 MHz (True I/Q streaming), a sweep speed of over 1 THz/s. According to Aaronia, it can scan a 6 GHz band in less than 5 ms. In particular, this instrument has the ability to intercept, according to its designer, signals of extremely short duration (up to 10 ns).
An optional vector/tracking signal generator can be integrated, with a modulation bandwidth of up to 120 MHz (optionally 245 MHz).
The system is combined with a portable PC that can be used as a stand-alone computer for other applications. The PC is equipped with an Intel Xeon E-2176 processor, 64 GB RAM, a 4 GB Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card, a 1 TB SSD system hard drive, and 2 TB or 8 TB SSD recording memory.
The Spectran V6 MIL comes with the RTSA-Suite Pro spectrum analysis software, which offers a variety of real-time signal display and analysis functions.
This spectrum analyzer is designed for field use in harsh conditions and is predestined for military use as well as for all types of counter-surveillance or signal monitoring and analysis applications in industrial environments. It is also suitable for EMC pre-compliance testing.
Aaronia offers three variants of this analyzer: Spectran V6 MIL, Spectran V6 MIL Pro and Spectran V6 MIL Enterprise.
