- eInfochips, an Arrow Electronics company, has signed a multi-year worldwide distribution agreement to market Infineon Technologies’ software for the automotive industry.
Under the terms of the agreement, Infineon will supply eInfochips with microcontroller software for the Aurix, Traveo and Automotive PSOC microcontroller ranges for the automotive industry. The offer will include Autosar (Automotive Open Systems Architecture) compliant software and non-Autosar drivers, as well as safety-related software components.
Einfochips, an engineering services provider, will also provide software support and maintenance services, including cybersecurity support for customers acquiring the package, to help them reduce design risks and manage their product lifecycles more effectively.
“With the signing of this agreement, we are taking a major step forward in our mission to enhance our software offering for our distributor customers, particularly those we serve through Arrow,” said Patrick Will, head of marketing and software product management at Infineon. “By combining our certified microcontroller software with eInfochips’ software integration support, we enable our customers to simplify their development processes and accelerate their time-to-market.”
