EMV trade fair on EMC

EMV 2023: The EMC trade fair offers a series of workshops

  • The EMV trade fair on the subject of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) will be held from 28 to 30 March 2023 in Stuttgart.
  • The German trade fair will offer 36 practical workshops on current EMC issues.

The workshop topics were selected by a 19-member expert committee. “A large number of participants from industry and science will meet at EMV 2023 in Stuttgart to exchange their expertise,” explains committee chairman Dr. Detlef Hoffmann of Webasto Roof & Components SE. “The workshop program offers a wide range of topics and allows newcomers, seasoned experts and decision makers to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their expertise.”

The workshops will cover a variety of EMC-related topics: measurement and immunity, measurement and emitted interference, interference protection, approval and safety. The program also includes topics dedicated to aerospace and medical technologies.

Participants will be able to attend several workshops that build on or complement each other. Six of the workshops will be conducted in English. Of these, three will be led by Frank Leferink of the University of Twente and two by Dr. Diethard Hansen of Euro EMC Service (EES) Dr. Hansen Consulting. Speaker Arturo Mediano from the University of Zaragoza will offer a workshop titled “EMI/CEM Debugging Using Oscilloscopes with Time-Frequency Conversion.”

Registration for the workshops is now open at a discounted price for reservations for more than one workshop. In addition, interested parties can take advantage of reduced rates for registrations made before February 21, 2023.
