- Marc Tremblay, appointed head of Tektronix earlier this year, is now president of Fluke.
- Tami Newcombe, who joined Tektronix in early 2017 as Commercial President, replaces him.
The Fortive conglomerate, which includes the American companies Fluke and Tektronix, said that that “a need arose” for Tremblay to take over immediately at Fluke.
Tami Newcombe, the new president of Tektronix, has 25 years of experience at Fortune 500 technology companies. According to Tektronix, she brought a diverse background when she joined the company after holding management positions in sales, field sales, operations, marketing and engineering.
Tami Newcombe joined Tektronix in early 2017 after serving as Cisco’s Vice President of Sales. During her career at Cisco, she has been instrumental in developing new approaches to capture critical market transitions, capitalize on the power of distribution partners and demonstrate the business value of technology adoption to customers. This has allowed the American company to record steady year-on-year growth.
Prior to joining Cisco, Tami Newcombe held positions as a customer manager, sales engineer, product marketing engineer and development engineer at Analog Devices and IBM.
Tami Newcombe holds an MBA from Union College and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and biological engineering from Syracuse University.
