- NI (formerly National Instruments) has announced the launch of Test Workflow, a subscription offering for its various software products dedicated to test system automation.
- The offering allows developers to use the Texas firm’s software needed to design and automate a test or measurement system through a single software license.
- NI’s Test Workflow bundle is a software bundle designed to simplify access to multiple software tools in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode.
This subscription-based bundle provides access to test and measurement software such as LabView, TestStand, FlexLogger and DIAdem through a single license.
The Test Workflow bundle includes a Standard version and a Pro version that provides access to more software applications and features.
As a reminder, LabVIEW is a graphical development environment adapted to the field of acquisition, measurement and control. Its totally graphical approach differs from text-based programming languages by offering similar programming capabilities but without the abstraction and complexity of syntax.
TestStand is an application software that allows the development of automatic test and validation systems. It offers the ability to extend the functionality of the system by developing test sequences in TestStand that incorporate code modules written in any programming language.
FlexLogger is a data logging software for validation tests. It can be used to facilitate test setup and key data extraction using sensor-specific workflows to acquire and record synchronized and mixed measurements without the need for programming.
DIAdem is a data management software for measurement data aggregation, inspection, analysis and reporting. The software, which is designed to facilitate post-processing of measurement data, is optimized for large data sets and includes tools for searching and aggregating data.
