Pickering Interfaces wins 2019 Queen’s Award

  • The British company Pickering Interfaces, a specialist in electronic testing, was awarded the Queen’s Awards for its exceptional international sales growth.

Pickering Interfaces, a provider of modular switching and signal simulation solutions for electronic test and validation, is the 2019 winner of the Queen’s Awards for Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years.

The British company, founded in 1988 as part of the Pickering Group, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018. Based in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, the company designs and manufactures modular signal switching and instrumentation systems for electronic testing and simulation in a variety of industrial sectors: automotive, aerospace and defence, energy, communications, medical, semiconductor, etc. The company markets standard catalogue solutions and customised cards to meet the specific requirements of its customers.

« Pickering Interfaces exports 95% of its production abroad, including 40% to North America, 35% to Europe and 20% to Asia. We are a winner of the Queen’s Awards because we have achieved an average growth of 25% over the past three years, » says Keith Moore, the company’s CEO.

“Our success in the market is largely due to the flexibility of our organization. Our objective is to provide our customers with reliable solutions to their specific problems, not just to sell them a”catalogue” product. All our employees are involved, from salespeople who identify opportunities, to product developers who strive to consider creative and practical solutions, to manufacturing personnel who deliver products on time with a three-year warranty,” continues Keith Moore.
