The Mobile Test Summit took place in Munich, at Rohde & Schwarz headquarters, on November 19 and 20, 2024. Professionals from the wireless communications sector were invited to take part in two days of exchanges about the latest developments in mobile device and infrastructure testing.
This year’s summit focused on the next stage of 5G, including topics such as 5G Advanced, non-terrestrial networks (NTN), RedCap capability, mission-critical operations and service, and the adaptation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques. The energy efficiency of mobile devices and networks was also a key topic of discussion.
Speakers came from entities such as the European Space Agency (ESA), Fraunhofer IIS, Frequentis, Nokia Bell Labs, OQ Technology Sarl, Murata Electronics, Panasonic Connect Europe, Siemens, Sony Semiconductors, A1 Croatia, O2 Telefonica and Telekom.
