- Tektronix announces the appointment of Frenchman Philippe Pichot as vice president of sales for the EMEAI region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India).
Philippe Pichot joined Tektronix in 2019. In recent years, he has led the region’s channel initiatives, as well as the regional sales teams in Europe. He recently took on additional responsibilities expanding his knowledge of operations and logistics.
According to Tektronix, his strong customer focus and experience working closely with the company’s distribution network are key assets in his new role.
As vice president of sales, Philippe Pichot will leverage his market expertise to lead the company’s teams in enabling customers to innovate in current and future generations of electronic designs.
As part of the U.S. company’s mission to enable engineers to achieve technological breakthroughs with greater ease, speed and accuracy, Philippe Pichot’s responsibilities extend to Tektronix’ Research and Development department and its engineering teams to ensure that customer needs are heard, while building on a culture of continuous improvement.
Philippe Pichot previously held senior sales and marketing positions at Future Electronics and Texas Instruments. He holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the ISEN engineering school in Lille, France.
