element14 and NI launch educational program on test automation

  • element14 and NI are launching an educational program entitled “A beginner’s course on LabVIEW and test automation.”
  • The course aims to equip members of Avnet’s element14 community with the skills needed to develop automated test applications with the LabVIEW graphical programming software platform.

The element14 electronics community is dedicated to empowering its members by providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to realize their projects. This training program aims to introduce community members to automated testing techniques.

The LabVIEW graphical programming environment is designed to facilitate the development of automated systems for design, validation and production testing. The proposed training program aims to provide participants with an in-depth knowledge of LabVIEW, enabling them to create their own automated test projects using this software development platform.

Open to all members of the element14 community, the program is based on a user-friendly learning process. To be eligible for a prize, participants must commit to following the proposed lessons, completing quizzes and finalizing a test automation project using LabVIEW Community Edition.

Applications for participation in this training program are now open and will be accepted until September 8. Successful participants will be announced on September 15. Questionnaires must be completed by October 5 and project blogs submitted by October 21. Program winners will be announced in November 2023.

The grand prize winner will receive LabVIEW Base Edition software and the Multicomp Pro MP720011 US digital oscilloscope. The runner-up will receive LabVIEW Base Edition software and the Multicomp Pro MP730424 EU-UK digital multimeter bench. All participants will receive a year-end prize, the Multicomp Pro MP700393 4PCE ESD Electronic Cutting Kit.
