- The new R&S NRP67S and R&S NRP67SN power probes from Rohde & Schwarz now cover a frequency range from 50 MHz to 67 GHz. According to their German manufacturer, such frequency levels have never before been achieved by diode technology for measuring probes.
The probes, which incorporate the Rohde & Schwarz’s three-channel diode technology, have a dynamic range from -70 dBm to 20 dBm and a measuring speed of up to 10,000 measurements per second.
The R&S NRP67S/SN probe can therefore be used to perform power measurements on signals using the latest-generation Wi-Fi and wireless communication technologies operating at frequencies above 57 GHz as well as all other commonly used radio frequency transmission technologies.
All R&S NRPxxS power probes are compact in size and support the industry standard USBTMC protocol, and are suitable for local or remote use in measurements performed during installation, maintenance or monitoring of radio transmission infrastructures.
The probes can be connected to the R&S NRX series power meter, to a selection of Rohde & Schwarz signal generators and analyzers, or to a PC on which the R&S NRPV power measurement software is installed. The R&S NRPxxSN is also equipped with an Ethernet interface for remote control via a LAN.
