- Pickering Interfaces, a provider of modular switching and signal simulation solutions for electronic testing and verification, offers two PXIe chassis with 8 and 18 slots designed for rack-mounted test benches.
- These PXIe chassis with hybrid slots incorporate a system for monitoring power supply voltage, internal temperature and fan speed.
The 42-924 series chassis has seven hybrid slots to accommodate PXI and PXI Express (PXIe) cards.
The 42-925 model offers one PXIe system slot, one PXIe timing slot and 16 hybrid slots. Any PXI-compatible module, PXIe up to the latest generation (Gen 3) or Compact PCI 3U is operational in any slot of the chassis.
These 4U chassis offer a system power capacity of 400W for the 8-slot model and 1200W for the 18-slot model. Fans combined with a direct-convection design provide optimal cooling of the chassis to ensure operation over a temperature range from 0°C to +50°C. Front-to-back cooling does not require space between rack-mounted instruments. This results in increased density. The status and operating parameters of these chassis can be remotely monitored via a port on the rear panel.
These chassis, which come with a three-year warranty, feature low operating noise and the ability to connect to an external clock (10MHz Clock Input/Output). They are equipped with rack-mounting handles as standard.
