- Keysight Technologies announced the M96xxA series source and measurement units integrated into a PXIe format module.
This range of modular instruments includes five models : M9601A, M9614A, M9615A, M9602A and M9603A.
SMUs are electronic instruments capable of sourcing and measuring at the same time. They can force voltage or current and simultaneously measure voltage and/or current. Keysight offers five new sourcemeter models in a modular format:
- M9601A PXIe SMU for a variety of current versus voltage (I-V) measurement tasks such as characterization, parametric tests of semiconductors, active/passive components and general electronic devices. It supports measurement up to 210 V / 315 mA with resolution down to 500 nV / 10 fA. Pulsed and sampling measurement capabilities allow the M9601A to perform a variety of measurements from DC to pulsed down to 20 μs at 1.25 MSa/s sampling rate. M9601A PXIe SMU is sold USD $6,765.
- M9614A and M9615A are PXIe five-channel SMUs which are ideal for applications that require high channel density, such as semiconductor reliability testing and integrated circuit (IC) tests. They support measurement up to 30 V / 500 mA with resolution down to 6 uV / 10 pA. M9614A PXIe five-channel SMU is sold USD $9,200 and the M9615A model is sold USD $14,400.
- M9602A and M9603A are PXIe SMUs featuring pulse width (10 μs) and a sampling rate of up to 15 MSa/s. They enable dynamic/pulsed measurements for applications such as vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) optical devices, integrated circuit (IC) testing. M9602A PXIe SMU is sold USD $5,600 and the M9603A is sold USD $6,700.
